The journal publishes original scientific and review articles on topical issues of atmospheric and hydrosphere physics and climate theory, methods of atmospheric and oceanic research, thematic collections of articles, information on major scientific events in the field of atmospheric and oceanic physics. The journal's publications are devoted to the results of theoretical and experimental studies and numerical modeling of the state and circulation of the atmosphere and ocean, natural and anthropogenic climate changes, hydrodynamics of gas and water environments, interaction of the atmosphere with the ocean and the earth's surface, turbulent and radiation processes, heat balance and optical properties of the atmosphere and ocean.
